Maybe not coded in this manner which is to help you recall or be mindful of it. Some may have been applying it at work without knowing it, but it helps a lot better when we are intentional about it.

They know the ins and outs, the strengths, and even the weaknesses. With this knowledge, they can articulate their offerings’ unique value and anticipate customer needs, setting them apart from the rest. 

Industry knowledge forms the second element of this recipe. Influential people stay informed about the latest industry trends, developments, and challenges. By keeping their finger on the industry’s pulse, they can make informed decisions and strategize effectively. This level of expertise earns respect and positions them as thought leaders within their field. 

Finally, the third and equally essential ingredient is Customer knowledge. True leaders prioritize understanding their customers— their preferences, pain points, and desires. By empathizing with their audience, they can tailor their approach and deliver personalized solutions. Customer-centric leaders build loyalty and trust, securing a devoted following. 

In the journey of growing your influence, mastering the three essential ingredients—Product knowledge, Industry knowledge, and Customer knowledge—is like creating the perfect recipe for success. And it is interesting to note that they are intertwined. 

For instance, if you possess deep Product knowledge and understand the ins and outs of your offerings, but fail to act on that knowledge, your influence will remain dormant. Similarly, if you possess Industry knowledge and stay updated on the latest trends, but lack honesty in your approach, your influence will be short-lived.
