WHY IT’S IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE IN SALES TO BE OPEN TO PROBLEM SOLVING 

Traditionally, sales has been viewed as a one-way street, where the seller presents their product or service and the buyer either purchases it or not. However, in today’s market, this approach is no longer sustainable. Customers want more than just a product or service; they want solutions to their problems. Therefore, people in sales must be open to problem-solving and have a deeper understanding of the customer’s needs and how they can solve their problems. If all you have to offer your clients is products and services and more of the same, plus subscriptions, you will lose credibility. 

IN A COSMOPOLITAN CITY WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT 

One of the main threats to coexistence in a cosmopolitan city is the use of provocative language. Words that are intended to hurt, offend, and threaten others can quickly escalate tensions and create an environment of fear and mistrust. This type of language can create an “us vs. them” mentality, which can unfortunately lead to violence, prejudice, and discrimination if left unchecked.

Character is an integral aspect of effective leader of all seasons. Leaders need to demonstrate integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic. They need to lead by example and hold themselves accountable for their decisions and actions. They should own up to their mistakes, apologize when things go south, and work towards righting their missteps.

BOOST PRODUCTIVITY AT WORK BY CREATING BOUNDARIES 

From my experience, observation, chatting with business owners and career people, the major reasons why people fall short as regards productivity include taking on too much. This can be because of being a workaholic, unpleasant work culture that disregards people’s personal time or an overtly accommodating person (people-pleaser). Distraction is another reason people fall short on being productive. For some it is the obsession with social media, while distractions can even come from the workplace as well. I am not suggesting that people should not multitask, there are just times when someone can be at the middle of a project and adding more work will be more of a distraction than anything else.

PRIORITIZE YOUR WELLBEING BEFORE POLITICS & POLITICIANS 

What informs your choice? When it comes to making decisions, it is not about being right all the time, but about being certain that our decisions are right most of the time. This means making sure to consider all the evidence and consider multiple perspectives before deciding. And we should be willing to adjust our decisions when presented with facts and newer information; not grandstand when we are corrected or try to justify our actions simply because people on the other side did the same…
